Saúde em Debate, V. 50, N. 150, JUL-SET 2026

The editorial ‘CEBES on the agenda for the deprivatization of health and SUS’, authored by the journal’s editors-in-chief, complements the one published in the previous regular issue (Vol. 50, No. 149). “It seeks to deepen the debate on the privatization of health in Brazil, helping with the agenda of deprivatization of the Unified Health System (SUS). The starting point is the chapter on health in the 1988 Constitution, the result of the struggle of the Brazilian Health Reform Movement, which enshrined a radically democratic and universalist conception of health”.
