Abstract

The return and escalation of the hunger during the COVID-19 pandemic were severe regressions lived by the brazilian population as a result of a necropolitics form of government. This management refused to look and offer public policies for the vulnerable population. The act of eating is a promoter of health (physical-mental) that was taken off the majoritie population during the pandemic. This research made by the cartography method aimed to investigate arrangements of mental health produced in the communities, in Heliópolis, favela of São Paulo. Among the main findings stand out arrangements to extend the food offer, to emancipate the residents of this community, public marchs informing agaist the hunger situation in the territory as well as conversations during the share of food. The act of sharing and distribution of food, in the scenario of hunger, especially in the favelas, stands out as a colletive act of resistence and coping during the pandemic.
